The graveled path leading to Trapper Creek Lodge escorts its visitors over an old bridge spanning the narrow width of Trapper Creek; winding sharply round the base of the giant Needle Rock formation which stands sentry over The Trapper Creek Lodge itself. Mesmerized by the unique shape and seemingly perilous balancing act of ancient stone on clay, visitors are usually surprised by the contrast of the landscape when the long driveway off to the right suddenly comes into view.  Flanked by large alfalfa fields on either side with verdant green manicured lawns in front, the grand entrance into the lodge often features impressive specimens of mule and white tail deer who seem to know their importance as acting concierge.

The Main Lodge, a gorgeous log structure is at once impressive and inviting.  The logs where imported all the way from Oregon and wrap securely around large French doors and twin native rock chimneys bespeak the warmth of the interior that surely awaits your arrival.

Upon entering you are immediately impressed by the spacious floor plan and enormous beams that support the vaulted ceilings. This exquisite interior is beautifully decorated, elegantly appointed yet tempered by the obvious attention to functionality.

A large river rock fireplace surrounded by a comfortable enclave of overstuffed chairs and sofas punctuates one end of this impressive great room which also houses a delightful dining place while flanked at the other end by a commercial chef’s kitchen.

Three supremely comfortable guest suites designed to inspire while ensuring your comfort and convenience guarantee a restful sleep.  Every sensory detail has been carefully selected to be soothing.  Each suite features a king size bed, sitting area, television and modern bathroom with shower.  Other features include:

  • Air-conditioning & radiant floor heat
  • Wireless Internet & satellite television

Plush terrycloth bathrobes are among the personal amenities available for your use during your stay.
