A Haven for Photographers: Western Photo Safaris at the Ranch

This area is a paradise for photographers. For many years tour operators specializing in trips for photographers have rented out the entire ranch for picture taking. They know when to capture the most beautiful moments of the day, for they are light experts.

For Western Photo Safaris accompanied by world-classphotographers and instructors, please visit www.photosafaris.com of Joseph Van Os.

Schedule Early Morning and Early Evening Trail Rides

Burning daylight is a colloquial saying that is taken seriously in these parts, by cowboys and photographers alike. We can schedule early morning and early evening the trail rides, which are precious, picture-taking hours.

That way, you can enjoy the bounty of the natural colors and expansive views, all at the right temperature.

Time in the Saddle: What to Expect

When it comes to hours in the saddle, most can expect to spend two to six hours a day riding. Riding is not required and we are well aware that some guests may choose to increase or decrease the amount of time they spend in the saddle.

This is why we encourage you to tailor your time in the saddle to suit your needs and/or physical abilities. Your wrangler will be more than happy to accommodate your requests.

Half-day rides are available every day and private or group lessons are offered upon request. These lessons are given in The Hideout arena, a professional arena for instruction and equestrian events.
